Sentosa with viv rach & gourie was pretty fun (: Checked in Monday afternoon and then we lazed around in the room for a while before going to the beach. The room was pretty nice & clean but terribly cold. The 4 of us ended up sharing a water bee which was hilarious. Initially, rach and gou were the ones steering the thing & viv and I were the ones sitting at the back. That was pretty fun cause viv & I were enjoying ourselves & taking pictures while the other 2 were slogging it off ;) They were pretty good at handling the thing but vivien was screaming away at them cause she was scared that they'd cross the boundary. Hahaha then we switched positions so viv & I had to paddle with the other 2 behind. Boy it was so tiring. Hahahaha we were taking short breaks cause our thighs were aching bad. And we seemed to be going round and round so in the end we kinda gave up (:
I jumped into the sea and they wanted to leave without me :( But in the end viv jumped in too & I was like floating about cause of the lifejacket which they made us wear. It was hilarious cause I couldn't even swim properly and I was like bobbing up and down & vivien thought it was very funny and kept taking weird pictures of me. Then they went swimming in the pool while I sat out because... And there was so much drama cause Viv lost her bracelet in the pool so she was trying to find it & they even got the lifeguards to lend them goggles.
Well they eventually found it but it was like 2.1m deep so they couldn't reach it. It was hilarious cause the 3 of them kept surrounding that area and moving about. Vivien tried to pull me into the pool so that I could dive and help her retrieve it but I refused. And they were pretty stressed so I was just trying to lighten the mood & was like "what if it's aluminium foil & not the bracelet" and they said I was insensitive! My oh my. But in the end gourie saved the day cause she managed to get it before the life guard jumped in to help.
It was really pouring so we couldn't explore the island so we took the bus to Vivocity & had dinner there where Gourie filled us in on the latest (as usual!). Then we went back & gourie and viv taught the 2 of us how to play pool. Hahaha then we played table tennis, went to the arcade and sat by the lounge & ordered drinks. There was a live band & they were good. Sat there for quite some time then we went back to table tennis (:
By the time we went up to the room it was like 12 plus. Washed up and then we played cards. And then we played bridge and viv & I won. HAHAHA FINALLY. I was so happy (: And then we played taitee and guess who won??? (: (: My first time okay. Then we played bluff (which gourie was terrible at), chase the ace, pencils etc. Ended up playing truth or truth with gourie and rach and it was hilarious. Gourie & I were practically attacking each other with questions while Rachel just kept laughing. Slept around 3 plus and then we went for breakfast this morning.
All in all, it was a nice break with the tennis girls (: The weather was a let down but at least we had fun! Anyway, I missed out some things but you can read it here...

Touched down safely around 3.30pm Singapore time (: The flight back was okay but I had this annoying guy who was sitting in front of me & he kept on pushing his chair all the way back, even during meal times. It was so annoying. But there was a cute little english girl who was probably 2 or so next to me & she kept touching my ring. Lol and the time passed really fast. Basically I watched some cantonese show that was supposed to be a comedy but wasn't. Then I played Shanghai (omg my favourite game now) and then I watched Titanic. Hahahaha so not funny okay. I think it's a really sweet & sappy movie but I didn't finish it cause we were arriving.
Came home & unpacked then I went to meet Viv for coffee to catch up. Then we took a cab to watch Su's doubles at kallang. I'm already starting to miss London :( I'm glad I managed to go to London this year because it definitely helped me in making a very important decision & now I know what to do. Plus I got to spend time with my sister & I'm so proud of her. Just after being there for 3 months, she's matured so much & become so much more independant. Seriously, I'm very proud of you Ling (: The year's ending so quickly but I have to say that 2006 has been a good year overall.
Okay I need to sleep now & I can't wait for Sentosa on monday with the girls (: (:

Okay shar and I are at the internet cafe @ cafe nero in High street ken. We've got like 2 hours to kill before meeting her brother for dinner plus we are broke so there's no point in shopping since we can't get things so yes, we're online. Today we went to the natural history museum around noon which was interesting but we felt kinda cheated cause outside it said free entrance. Then when we got in we had to pay 8 pounds (24 dollars) to enter the dinosaur exhibition so of course we did. But we realised you could roam around without going to the dinosaur exhibit. Ahhhhhh but anw it was pretty interesting. Then we decided to have lunch at this restaurant called Little Tokyo since we wanted jap food but it wasn't that fab. Hahaha shar and I were moaning throughout the meal.
Now I'll recap what's happened since I last updated. So on friday morning, we ( shar, aunty pam, uncle david, paul, kerry & I) left for france. We drove to Kent which is another part of the UK and then we drove into this super cool ship where we parked the car and boarded the ship. I guess it's somewhat like a cruise (though I've never been on a cruise unlike lisze who goes on one every holiday). Haha but they have cute DFS shops and coffee outlets etc. Then we arrive in Calais & drove around before having lunch at a really cute quaint restaurant. The food was fab, shar and i both had steak and then the dessert was good. We also had christmas crackers so we wore party hats during lunch. Haha then we drove to Boulogne which is another town and went to the hypermart. Then we took the ship back to England at night and arrived home around 9 plus and aunty pam made profiteroles (: (: (:
On Saturday we went to Portebello Market that was REALLY COOL. It's a huge flea market which is really packed and everyone pushes each other and they sell food, clothes, shoes, accessories and antique items. The most interesting section was the antique part where they have antique dolls, cameras, swords, pictures, photos, books from the 1920s up till like 1980s I think. Basically they have whatever you can think of... even tennis rackets! I managed to get this super cool camera from the 1950s that really was a good deal. The guy says it's still working so I need to get film when I get back but even if it's spoilt, I don't really care cause I can use it as a decoration. I think tiff would love that place. Then after that we had chinese takeaway which was good cause we were starving.
We went to Ling's church, All Souls on Sunday with ling squish michelle jasmine etc and they were having a family service. It's pretty much like st. georges. Then after that a few of us went to spitalfields market (yet another flea market!!) but shar wasn't feeling well so I sat with her in cafe nero while she slept for 2 hours and I was solving my sudoku puzzles (: Then we had a DIY dinner as we bought roast chicken from waitrose and just heated soup in ling's rice cooker and then we had dessert.
On Monday we went back to my aunt's in Roehampton which is like a 40 min drive from central london. Then we went out for lunch with my uncle and another aunt at croyden and had some buffet. Okayso basically, in London they sell alot of Singapore fried noodles. But we were all saying that there is NO SUCH THING in Singapore. Like every chinese restaurant we've been to has singapore fried noodles. Hahahaha or like chow mein. They are obsessed with it okay. Like everything with noodles here is either.... chow mein OR singapore fried noodles. Lol ;)
We're leaving for Singapore tomorrow around 6.15 pm and arrive back around 3.20 on Thursday singapore time. Omg this trip has passed really quickly :( I think this trip's been one of the best ones cause travelling alone makes you more independant. Hahaha really it does. And I got to meet ling's friends who are really nice and shop quite alot (: Okay I better go now.

Hello once again (: Shar & I are at aunty pam's place now & we've got the whole house to ourselves which is really cool cause aunty pam & uncle david went for some tennis exhibition in central london & mcenroe is playing Niki's still at work & kerry's out. I love love love LOVE their house. Hahaha I think I have an obsession with it, if I had a house like that I'd probably never go out. So today (thursday), we went to Tower of London in the late morning which was interesting. On our way to tower of london, the rain suddenly came and the wind was unbelievably strong. Then the wind was so strong that it broke shar's umbrella. And there was hail. Like omg, the hail stones were falling on my face and it hurt bad. We followed the yeoman on the guided tour for about half an hour before we decided to roam on our owns cause we were kinda rushed for time. So we covered the jewel palace which had gorgeous crowns, the bloody tower where the 2 princes disappeared and some other towers. The tower ground is really pretty though cause it's really green. I'll post pictures when I get back. And we saw the ravens flying around near the ground. They are HUGE and ugly. Like mega super humongous fat crows. Hahahaha then we had lunch and went back to ling's to get our luggage. We had to take the british rail to get to purley and we didn't know that we had to press the button for the doors to open so we stupidly stood there. Hahaha it was funny. And then when the train started moving we were like omg & I was like maybe the train will turn around and shar though that was stupid. Hahahaha but it was a good experience anw.
Tuesday was spent at oxford street/regent street/bond street with shar and ling. We did some good shopping & then we were starving so we had macs for lunch. We went to hamleys, the biggest toy store in the world but we didn't get anything. They had this really really cute dog on this string & when you pull it, it gallops. I really liked it but figured it'd look kinda retarded cause imagine a 16 year old dragging a toy dog on a string. HAHA and they had this monster toys that start shaking and talking when you clap. The 3 of us were so fascinate by it & we were clapping away. Hahah cheap thrill. Then we had chinese takeaway for dinner & lazed around in ling's room and jiayun came up & we were talking about teachers from tk for example psycho (ATTN VERA) hahaha.
Wednesday was spent at madame tussauds. It was really really cool & some of the wax figures were really real. But jennifer aniston looked oily & madonna looked to young. Hahaha we took like a gazillion photos. I sat next to jamie oliver, hugged john travolta & oprah, sat on picasso (lol) and then there was christina aguilera who looked very real. And brad pitt and angelina jolie (yuck). There was also shakespeare, oscar wilde, sadam hussein. Oh yes, shar & i took a picture standing at the UN thing with george bush and tony blaire. Oh and there was will smith & when shar was like asking who that was I said so loudly, CRAIG DAVID then she was like no la, will smith. Hahaha talk about embarassing then we met ling in the afternoon & went for dinner with her and michelle. Squish met us after that and we got tickets for les miserbales. It was really good but shar and i were dozing off at some parts cause we were so tired. Hahaha but the cast and singing as good. And liked jon from s club was one of the main roles. I was thinking he looked so familiar and when i told them during the break only michelle agreed. Haha Ling was like no la it's not him. But when we got home, squish checked online and it was him and he could sing well. Supposedly he was starring in les mis even before he joined s club then now he's gone back!!! Hahaha I knew it and Ling was like wow not bad eh ;) Afterall, I was once a major sclub fan okay!!! Hahaha

Greetings from London (: I'm currently in Ling's hostel at Russell Square. So we arrived on Friday & the past 3 days have been AWESOME. Seriously, we did MAJOR shopping at Kingston and I kinda blew 300 dollars on things. Hahaha but not everything's for me, like half are presents for others. Let me do a quick recap...
Friday
Arrived around 5 & my aunt picked us up from the airport. It rained the whole day so it was pretty chilly. Well actually the weather's not too bad though. Past few days have been nice & it's warmer than I expected. Around 9 to 12 degrees. Then we went to her place to wash up & went to Harrods & I got a few bags and stuff. The bus journey was good cause we took pretty pictures and stuff. Then we went to High Street Kensington & we were like all excited about shopping but we only had time to go into H&M. Accessories there were awesome so we got them. Then we had to rush back cause Ling was coming over. Btw it gets dark around 4pm here since it's winter. Then we had dinner at home & went to bed.
Saturday
We went to Kingston in the morning & then we went to Primark. Omg that shop is AMAZING. Hahahahaha seriously. The clothes and all aren't that good cause the quality isn't so good but the accessories & bags and pyjamas are like WOW. HAHAHAHA so we went crazy grabbing bags and stuff. I got like this bag in 3 to 4 different colours. One for rach su etc etc. I filled 2 baskets and yeah it was alot of fun though. And we had this donuts called dinky donuts that were yum. Met my cousin, Kraisorn & his girlfriend Letrang. She's really nice (: We had sunday roast for dinner which was good :D
Sunday
Went to our house in Earls Court to take photos so that my parents can see the condition it's in. Hahaha after being vacant for 10 years, it's terrible. Like the floor and everything is bad but the house itself is gorgeous. Plus there are many rooms so I hope they do it up. Then we went to aunty mercy's thai restaurant for lunch & we ate soooo much. But the food was really good (: Then we were supposed to go to Richmond Park but it was closing :( Hmmm went to my Uncle's pub thingy and we went to the kitchen which was cool. And we had sunday roast again.
Today we left my aunt's place in the morning & we took the tube. We were supposed to wait for Ling at the tube station but we were early. Anyway, so we got off at Russell Square & cause it's way underground, you need to take the lift up. But we were impatient & decided to climb the stairs though it said 175 steps. Okay and we had like one suitcase each cause we needed to bring clothes. So imagine lugging the suitcase up 175 steps. The thing is we kinda though it would be easy cause 175 doesn't seem that much but oh trust me... Hahahaha I felt like I was about to collapse after that seriously. So I was panting away & we had to go get a cuppa coffee. Then we decided to be independant and navigate our way to Ling's hostel & we did it. Yay we're so independant seriously. Hahaha even my sis was amazed by how capable our navigating skills are. Met a few of her friends then shar & I left to meet Niki.
Omg niki lost so much weight and she's so pretty. Hahaha shar says she's the prettiest girl she's seen. We went to camden market which was interesting but pretty dodgy. Hmmm then we went to covent garden for lunch which was good and filling. Walked around and got a few things. Came back to russell square & we had chinese food with my sis and her 2 friends. Omg they're hilarious. Hahahaha they made me laugh so hard.
We're staying with Ling till Wed night then Thurs we're going up to aunty pam's in croyden. Friday we'll be in france & over the weekend we'll be back with Ling. Okay I gotta scram cause shar wants to use it now. Take care & I miss you guys. I'll upload pics when I get back
